Exhaust technologies for on-road applications

Road vehicles are seen as the main cause of air pollution in inner cities. This has prompted large cities all over the world to set up low emission zones and offer tax advantages to clean vehicles. Even new vehicles are affected by this development. From Euro 6 upwards, they must be delivered with a particle filter as standard.

On-road retrofit solutions

In order to reduce the emissions of trucks, buses, transporters, municipal vehicles and motorhomes, Baumot offers, depending on operating conditions, a modular DPF system which can be designed and produced in accordance with individual requirements. For the most common vehicles, Baumot can also provide pre-finished installation kits which accurately fit into the space of the original silencer.

Baumot filters reduce particle emission by more than 99%. Depending on the application and customer preference, different systems can be used for filter regeneration. They cover the whole spectrum from a purely passive regeneration strategy to autonomous systems based on additives and active burner and heating element-supported regeneration.
